20 Ysrcp Mlas Have Red Mark, May Not Get Ticket In 2024? | Vijayawada News – Times of India

Vijayawada: Having gone into poll mode nearly 18 months before the scheduled election to the state Assembly in 2024, chief minister and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is surprising the party leaders, particularly the sitting MLAs on their future political career.
Sources in the chief minister’s office said that the chief minister had received the latest report on the sitting MLAs, which had given a red mark to 20 of them.
The I-PAC is working with the YSR Congress and is reporting directly to the chief minister. The I-PAC team is making assessment on the performance of the MLAs and the prospects of the party across the 175 Assembly constituencies. In the last survey, the I-PAC teams have reportedly given negative marks to at least 50 MLAs, whom the chief minister had cautioned and advised to improve their performance. However, the latest survey report tabled on the chief minister’s office, gave a red mark to 20 MLAs clearly indicating that they would not win the next election. The I-PAC had reportedly suggested some alternative names to the chief minister in these 20 constituencies.
