NEW DELHI: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges to make arrangements for viewing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme which will be held on January 27. Through the programme, the Prime Minister will interact with students, parents and teachers.
The National Medical Commission, in its circular, issued to the deans/principals of all medical colleges on Friday, said that around 1,200 students will participate in the programme to be held at the Talkatora Indoor Stadium in New Delhi.
The programme will be broadcast live by Doordarshan through DD National, DD News and DD India. The programme will also be available through live airing on radio channels and live web streaming on websites of the Prime Minister’s Office, ministry of education, Doordarshan, MyGov.in and YouTube, Facebook and Swayamprabha channels of the education ministry, the circular states.
It further states: “All medical colleges are requested to give wide publicity to the programme and make necessary arrangements for viewing the programme.”
