Sidhu Moose Wala murder case: Lawrance Bishnoi’s lawyer complains police giving him ‘third degree torture’ | Chandigarh News – Times of India

MANSA: Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s lawyer Vishal Chopra has alleged that his client is being subjected to the ‘third-degree torture’ by the police in the murder case of Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu known as Sidhu Moose Wala on May 29.
Chopra released a pre-recorded message alleging that Punjab police were violating the rules, while interrogating the accused. Bishnoi is in police custody and has been put at CIA staff Kharar near Mohali.

The gangster’s advocate argued that Bishnoi’s life was in danger. Chopra claimed that police are not conducting videography of his interrogation and are not allowing him to meet anyone.
Chopra stated that he will approach the competent court against violations by police.
Lawrence Bishnoi has been named as mastermind in Sidhu Moose Wala murder. He was brought to Punjab from Delhi’s Tihar jail on June 15. He was sent to 7-days police remand after he was produced in court at Mansa.
Lawrence Bishnoi is accused of hatching conspiracy to kill Sidhu Moosewala. The police say it seems Moosewala was killed to avenge the killing of youth Akali leader Vicky Middukhera.
In the meanwhile, police are investigating the 13 weapons recovered on the confessions made by Santosh Jadhav, who has been arrested by Pune Police.
It is alleged that the weapons were brought from Madhya Pradesh and it is being investigated whether these weapons were used in Moose Wala case as well.
The police have also brought one Manmohan Singh from Mansa jail on production warrant.
